Vidyoric operates strictly as an academic learning platform. We do not sell student data, we do not serve behavioral or programmatic third-party advertisements, and we never monetize personal study patterns.
📋 1. Information We Collect
We only collect data necessary to deliver personalized spaced repetition learning and maintain user account security:
● Account & Profile Details
Full name, email address, password hash (bcrypt salted), role (student, creator, administrator), and optional curriculum/grade level preferences.
● Academic Progress & SM-2 Telemetry
Cards reviewed, SuperMemo-2 easiness factor (EF), repetitions count, quiz scores, completed study steps, and daily learning streaks.
● AI Sparks & Interaction Telemetry
Sparks balance, query timestamps, and contextual study doubts sent to the AI Copilot to deliver instant academic grounding.
● Payment & Order Records
Transaction IDs, deck or bundle enrollment status, and invoice details. We do not store credit/debit card numbers or UPI MPINs on our servers.

- Spaced Repetition Scheduling: Calculating the next optimal card review interval (SM-2 algorithm) to maximize long-term retention before exam dates.
- Curriculum Alignment: Showing relevant study decks, past papers, textbook chapters, and weekly sprints matched to your grade and board.
- Safe Harbor & Security: Enforcing creator warranties, DMCA compliance, IP protections, and safeguarding system integrity.
- Platform Communications: Sending essential notifications regarding order receipts, weekly exam reminders, or security alerts.
🤖 3. AI Safety, Vidyoric Sparks & Third-Party LLM Policy
When students utilize Vidyoric AI Copilot for concept clarification, formula explanations, or quiz hints:
✓ Zero Model Training: Student doubts, notes, and academic queries are never used to train public foundation models.
✓ Safe Harbor Educational Guardrails: AI responses are bounded by academic syllabus grounding, filtering out harmful, non-educational, or offensive queries.
✓ Encrypted Transmission: All requests to central AI endpoints are signed and encrypted with TLS 1.3 encryption.
👶 4. Protection of Minors & Children's Privacy
Vidyoric is committed to complying with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), EU GDPR-K, and India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. For learners under the age of 13 (or applicable local age threshold), accounts may be monitored or registered under verifiable parental/guardian consent. We do not collect geolocation, biometric data, or sensitive personal identifiers from minor learners.
🗑️ 5. Your Data Rights & Permanent Deletion
Every student and creator retains complete ownership of their personal data. You have the right to request a full copy of your learning telemetry or request permanent deletion of your account and all associated study records at any time.
